On Nov. 19th Hank Von Helvete, former Turbonegro singer aka Hank Von Hell, born Hans-Erik Dyvik Husby, died at the age of 49.
On October 12th, Andrea Meyer, ex-wife of Emperor's Samoth, German recording artist, writer, actress and model who released albums under the monicker Hagalaz' Runedence and Nebelhexe, as well as guest appearing for Cradle Of Filth and Satyricon, is one of the five killed in a bow-and-arrow attack in Kongsberg, Norway, by a Danish Muslim-converted citizen. She was 52.
On August 24th, The Rolling Stones' drummer Charlie Watts died at 80.
On July 29th, Slipknot's drummer Joey Jordison died at 46.
On July 29th, ZZ Top's bassist Dusty Hill died at 72.
On January 10th, Marsha Zazula, co-founder of Megaforce records died of cancer at 68.

He has been sentenced to time served and five years of probation and ordered to pay $23,793.45 in restitution. He was also ordered to get drug and alcohol evaluations and render 150 hours of community service.

- (03.08) Testament may record a few new songs before going back out on tour post-pandemic. Says vocalist Chuck Billy: "Eric [Peterson, guitar] is writing some music [on his own]. I haven't heard anything yet. It all starts with Eric, so I just kind of wait. He's gotta be in the right mood. And probably, being stuck at home with the pandemic, I would think he would be jamming and writing some stuff. So I think we'll probably at least have a couple of new songs. 'Cause it makes sense — if we write a couple of new songs, maybe we can do a repackage of the [latest Testament album, 'Titans Of Creation']. We're talking about possibly writing a song called 'Titans Of Creation', 'cause there is no title track. So, we could have a song called 'Titans Of Creation' and maybe re-push it out there with the record again. [That would be] more of a marketing thing. I think that's kind of what the talk is [that] might happen."
